ORIGINS
XX Fortune was born long before the first design ever printed on a tee. It started in the culture that raised us, the places where black creativity lived loud, unfiltered and unapologetically. That’s the real fortune. Fortune was never about money here. It’s about being rich in identity, in community, and in expression; in the creativity that black culture continuously gifts to the world. XX Fortune exists to remind creators, especially black creators, that their identity, their originality, and their imagination is worth standing on. Every capsule, every design, and every detail pulls from the soul of the culture while modernizing it. It is inspired by our roots, but not stuck in the past. XX Fortune isn’t a replica of black culture, it is a fashion house built on the creativity inside of black culture. The style, the art, the confidence, the stories, and the attitude. XX Fortune restores the soul of streetwear by returning it to the culture that made streetwear matter in the first place.

THE PATTERN
The LEGACY pattern is a dialogue between graffiti and paisley, two visual languages rooted in Black expression. Graffiti is more than just markings on a wall; it is a form of free speech, rebellion, and presence. It reflects the confidence to be seen and the refusal to be silenced. Graffiti is art born from Black inner-city communities and unapologetic self-expression. Paisley carries its own history within Black culture, far beyond its surface associations. Worn, lived in, and passed through generations, from bandanas to furniture to the fabrics of everyday life. It represents resourcefulness, identity, and continuity. Together, these elements form a pattern that honors where we come from while refusing to be confined by how the world chooses to interpret it. The LEGACY print is the culture.
RESTORING THE SOUL OF STREETWEAR
THE CEO
"Starting XX FORTUNE felt instinctive. Fashion has always existed in my life as a second language. I was raised by women who understood style as identity; my mother was deeply immersed in fashion, one of the finalists in the early auditions of America’s Next Top Model, and great-aunts who were self-taught tailors. Creativity was present, lived, and passed down.
Growing up in the South, Black culture wasn’t something I studied; it was my everyday life. That experience informs every piece created under XX FORTUNE. Each design carries a story, an influence, or a memory. As an artist at heart, I approach every garment as if it belongs in a gallery; intentional and meant to be worn. " - Mya Lanae

"XX FORTUNE itself was born through evolution and loss. It wasn’t my first brand, but it became the right one. The name honors my cousin, the first person I ever shared my dream of entering fashion with. XX, 20 in Roman numerals, is the day that he was born. XX FORTUNE is built on the spirit of being intentional. "
